Do You Kiss Your Mother With That Mouth? @%#!

So last night we were having Family Home Evening, and the subject that we had decided to talk about was Keeping our language and our minds pure. Now in our house every now and then we let some bad words slip. For instance when The Man forgets and accidentally says the "S" word. (shhh...... stupid!) Or the "D" word (dumb!) The consequence for which is pepper in the mouth which is Oooohhh so entertaining for all of us when Daddy gets it! He takes it like a man! ;) We were teaching them about how if movies we see, or books we read are inappropriate that we should turn them off or put them down and not read or watch them. Brenna gave us an example of how she was reading a book at school (with her wonderful animation as she always has) that said "Tish Tosh my G-O-S-H-!!!" and her face got really appalled and she said most seriously "and I closed that book and I didn't read anymore!" Wow! Brenna! That's very...... commendable! I do have to say that I was impressed! She is such a wonderfully good girl! She always tries to make sure that she does what she knows is right! Well it was at that point that I decided to tell them that there's something they should know. And then Mommy said EVERY BAD WORD in the book! It kind of went like this:
"Ok girls, there's something I need to tell you. There are words that are not nice like stupid, dumb, shut-up (children gasping with every word I say! Did you hear what Mommy just said?!?!) and so on that we don't say because when people say them they are usually not being nice. And there are other words that you probably don't even know called swear words
Amber- "like F-U-...." AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I all of the sudden became the bully's mom over the phone on A Christmas Story!!! WHERE DID YOU HEAR THAT!?!?!?!!?!?!!!!! HOW DO YOU KNOW THAT WORD!?!?!?!?!?!!! WHO SAYS THAT?!?!?!!?! She then looked at her dad...... hahaha! Just Kidding!!! ok conversation continues. I clap my hand over my mouth!
Brett- "Amber don't spell that word!"
Me- "Where did you hear that word?!?!!"
Amber- "Boys at school."

Boys at school??? BOYS AT SCHOOL!?!?!! BOYS AT SCHOOL SAY THAT?!?!?!?! I didn't hear that word until at least junior high or high school!!!!!!! Filthy mouthed little boys!!! I can't believe they say that!!!! I can't believe that my little girl goes to school and hears that everyday!!!! It makes me so sad! She is such a good girl! She tries to be so good! Never so much as says stupid, but listens to the "F" word (and we're not talking about Fun or Functional!)
everyday!!! What ta do, what ta do?

Hard Times

Just so I don't leave you guys high and dry! Weeeellll....... Ok so I don't have any answers for you or me, to my GREAT dismay! But I do have a lesson if you will. I still have no idea what's going on! For now, unless something else should unfold, I'm thinking I will just assume miscarriage.... Something I've never understood before. I would hear of people having them, but never knowing what a toll it takes on you, or how it feels. So I was venting to a friend and she did help pull my perspective back to where it should be. I am soooooooo incredibly, unquestionably blessed that I have 4 beautiful children, all have come quite easily and this is (I'm assuming) the first miscarriage I've had! All the while the Storm rages on. (wow! I can't believe I'm writing this ridiculousness!) We went to Park City and vacationed for a week at a resort......... How can that not be relaxing, fun, exciting, etc.?!?! I couldn't feel anything but irritation! It's a curious ordeal not feeling this way. A kind of numbness; when that dentist drills into my teeth, I would feel it were it not for the anesthetic, but one would never dream of wanting that kind of effect emotionally, say, on a wedding night? A dark rain cloud for everyone else! Something like no matter how hard you bite holes or punch your cheek, you're just not going to feel it (until later! don't do that ;)! Or how hard you try to talk yourself into how this should be fun! And you should be happy! So I got a blessing from my Husband and Brother, and miraculously and so mercifully my feeling came back and I could be happy and enjoy my trip! Which to say the least, I don't believe there is comprehension for the amount of kindness and mercy our Father has for us! And as reminded in the blessing, these things happen for our experience. I have to say, I don't believe I have a short history of trials (not boasting! don't be jealous if I've had more trials than you! ;) not the easiest or most comfortable life. On reflection, I wouldn't change it. I've learned, and am learning not to ask why. Because, looking back, I've experienced so much! That's what it's all about right? Experience? To be able to understand first hand what someone else is going through... What value has experience? So much so that it's something that is included in our Savior's Atonement. When no one can understand or know how you're feeling or what you're going through, there is always the comfort of knowing that the Savior does! And every now and then, you are so richly blessed enough to be put in a situation where you also may gain experience and in turn may be that rare form of comfort to someone else is who is so desperately in need. No I wouldn't trade that, and I have to say that I am grateful for the value of "hard times". For the understanding that, I believe, there is no other way to gain. So a lesson: There is goodness in the hard times, although often not felt until after the trial.
Why is life so unfair? Why do bad things happen to good people? Simply because they have been blessed to become even better, and learn even more than the "bad guy" who has all the world but loses out on the Hard times. And even further those who just have yet to learn, to learn from the hard times.

Miss Carryage and T.M.P.I.

Sooo.... I've been debating weather to blog this.......  and it's still probably too soon.... and TMPI but.........  WHAT THE HECK?  For those of you who are unaware, TMPI would be: Too Much Personal Information ;)   So there's your warning right there!  It's in the title people! ;)
Yes.  Well.  My man and I have decided that it's time!  As I mentioned in my first blog entry, we are trying to have another one!  I am not trying extremely hard seeing as how I still haven't lost all of the baby weight that I gained from the last one, but trying none the less.  So this last time I was pretty sure that we hit the timing right on.  I would be surprised if it didn't work this time!  And low and behold!  I start getting unreasonably emotional!  Holding back tears in public over stupid little things (By the way Cora, this is probably why I had that little break down at your house!)!!!  Sooooo embarrassing!!!  I hate that!  And I begin to wonder what's wrong with me!  Oh wait!  Could I be pregnant?  So I wait a few days and take one of those early detector pregnancy test.  A very faint positive!  All right!  That explains it all.  I've got a valid excuse for irrational behavior for the next 9 months! ;)    Oh wait!  But then!  Then  I started my (TMPI)........... Aunt flow came into town a day early!  What the Heck????  That's never happened before!!!!  Out of 4 kids and who knows how many tests, I've never gotten a false positive!   So in my disbelief, I ran to the store and grabbed another one!  Nope.  Negative.  Hmm.  Guess it was just wrong.  But then....... the emotions didn't go away.  I still felt wrong.  What in the world is going on?!?!  So it was over the holiday weekend that after Aunt flow had gone...... well, she came back again for a day (unwelcome visitor!!!)!  So I called my trusty older brother who happens to be a Dr.  And I got a blood pregnancy test (which I haven't gotten results for yet).  But he said it was possible that I had a miscarriage.  :(   Ahhhh don't worry about me!  If this is the case, it was so quick, that I had hardly even begun all the work.  But these emotions are........ awful!  I just want to cry over everything!  And I have much less Stamina for taking care of children and husband and household.  I hope it goes away soon.  Who knows though?  Hopefully I will be able to figure it out soon!  I guess we'll see what happens!

What's Done is DONE!!!

    My Dear Brandi,
I would like to inform you that we want to come and spend a few days with you before the end of the year (I will tell you more specifically in a less public setting! ;).
    YAY!!!!!!!
So after a lot of thought, and a little encouragement from my friend.... I have saved up pretty much everything to cover the cost of cruise and plane tickets, so we just need spending money.  I finally decided to stop vacillating and just DO it (I have such a big problem with commitment!)!!!  Before the money is squandered on miscellaneous things and our chances of a cruise slip away!  So it's all done!  I booked the cruise!  I booked the flight!  It's done!  We're going!  End (or should I say beginning?) of story!!!     Thank you all for your input!  Now I have several people to blame should this end up badly! ;)

I'm going to Disneyland!

There are sooooo many things that I need and want to write about! I think maybe if I make everything brief, I can almost catch up! Yeah right!  Like that'll happen!

WE WENT TO DISNEY LAND!!!! :D Yay! Yay! YAY!!!!! We haven't been for at least 3 years so it was fun to go again! It's so much more fun with a little bit older kids because they will actually go on the roller coasters with you! And like it! We were very lucky to get to have Grandma and Grandpa there!! They were ever so gracious enough to take the kids for us so that Brett and I could go on a few rides alone (the tower of terror, which happens to be just that for me! Free falls are awfull!!! I can do any roller coaster, but when it comes to the shortest of free falls..... that ride really is a whole other blog!) Anyway!  On with the trip!

Bonnie! If you only knew where you were going!
This is the happiest place on earth!!

The cutest mice there!

Here we are going up on splash mountain! This one is always fun! However, I don't think Brenna knew what she was getting into. After the big drop near the end the poor girl was holding onto the bars that you see her holding onto now only the smile was gone, the knuckles were white and her whole body was visibly shaking!!! I felt so bad! And it wasn't like I could just pick her up and hold her! I was watching her from the behind, saying "Brenna it's ok sweetheart! It's ok!".......oops..... She did say that she was going to try it again next time we went. Amber was a trooper and very happily went on all the rides including thunder mt. railroad!

This is the my Bonnie with not me..... maybe me in about 25 years, but my mom (we look so much alike that I'm sure... yep! There's me in 25 years!). This is during the firework show at the end of the night, which I must say are very good! I was surprised! I was expecting something, ya know, second rate, but no! It was great! Finally! Something for poor little Bonnie to do!

We got to go to the beach! Very fun! So I tried to take pictures at the beach (I love pictures at the beach)! get some kind of cool shot or something......

That ALMOST worked!  (probably would have been a good one too!)

After about 15-20 minutes of commanding my kids on every movement made and them just being so excited to be there, I decided to just let them go have fun!

We found a sea anemone! Which are very neat! If you haven't touched one, they feel very sticky and close up when you touch them! Spencer drenched himself!
Yes we all had fun and we all lived Happily Ever After and there is my brief blog!!! ;)

Dilema!

A couple of years ago, my brother and sister stayed at my house. They were just passing through, on their way to California to go on a Cruise ! It wasn't until they were bidding me farewell that I realized just how much I wanted to go on a cruise too! I was so sad that I was being left behind and not getting to go!!!! As I was running after their car waving and yelling "GOOD BYE! GOOD BYE........ WAIT! DON'T LEAVE ME!!!" I decided that I was going on a cruise!!!!........ a couple of years ago.......... So I planned and we were going to go 6 months from that time....... But when the time came...... I had to evaluate and I had to be responsible and use wise judgment and decide that there were way too many other things that we should use that money on!...... So a couple of years later........ we still haven't gone!!! So this year we will be celebrating out 10th anniversary!!!!! I can't believe it!!! But we are DEFINITELY going on a CRUISE!!!!! I said mid last year......... Alas! The time approaches! And I have been saving! And smuggling, and embezzling money! And I almost have enough!! I had it all planned out! We were going to go on a Caribbean cruise for 7 days at an awesome rate!!!! Until my man of 9 and 3/4 years tells me he has a trial that week!!!
Right! So! That didn't happen. But I have still been planning and trying to finagle, with our small budget, a way that we can get rid of 4 kids and run away long enough to go on a cruise and celebrate our 10 years of ball and chainism!! ;) As this continues.... and I look at the market.... and the economy...... and just the other day I had someone call me up ringing the bell of alarm that the end of the world and country are coming (don't worry....... I think we'll make it! :) and I also keep seeing statements like: " We urge all Latter-day Saints to be prudent in their planning, to be conservative in their living, and to avoid excessive or unnecessary debt."
Thomas S. Monson, “To Learn, to Do, to Be,” Liahona, Nov 2008, 60–62, 67–68

O....K..... So.... What!?!?! Should I not go??? Ok I admit! I don't have all of my debt paid off!!!! And I don't have a years worth of food storage! Am I the "Foolish Man" to go frivolously frolicking off on my little fantasy get away for my anniversary?!?! I can see it now! We go play on the love boat! Have ourselves a grand old time and the day after we come back, ARMAGEDDON! Hell Fire and Damnation!!!!! And we will be the FOOLISH grasshoppers begging from our ant neighbors who had more sense than to think that the prophets were kidding! AAAHHHHHH!!!!!

I just wanted to go on a cruise.........

So there's my dilemma I've been having internal arguments with myself about over the past months. And I don't know if I'm just being paranoid.... or if being wise and responsible will make me happier in the end. What ta do? What ta do?

Pay It Forward

Alright, my cousin did this and I wanted a present form her so now I'm forced to do this ;) How it works: The FIRST THREE people to leave a comment on this post will receive at some point during this year a handmade gift from ME. What it will be and when it will arrive will be a total surprise--to both of us.The CATCH is that YOU MUST PLAY TOO! Before you leave your comment here, write a pay it forward post on your blog to keep the fun going (you can cut and paste these instructions). Then come back and let me know that you are going to play, and sit back and anticipate the arrival of your gift. It's THAT easy! Remember, only the FIRST THREE comments will qualify (which I'm sure wont be hard because I'm not that frequented ;). Yea!

Whadda ya know? The 25 Things About You List!

Yes, facebook, but figured I would blog it too.
Alright, alright here it goes!

1. Bed sheets MUST BE STRAIGHT!!!!!! Not straight= not sleeping! STRAIGHT!!
2. VERY religious! It really does actually make me happy to have the Lord's will done over my own wants and pleasures!
3. I still like to play hide and go seek, sardines, murder in the dark and all those silly childish games, but nobody wants to play them with me :( ........ I don't know why..... Prideful adults
4. I do however play hot and cold with my husband regularly when he can't find something and I know where it is!!! HAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAA!!!! He gets so mad!!!!
5. When I was about 9..... I found these really interesting things up in my mom and dad's closet. I didn't know what they were, but my wonderfully imaginitive mind figured out that they were really great barbie water beds!!! I filled them up with water and took them on the side of the house and my barbies slept happily in their barbie water bed! They were kinda slimy though........ so I just washed them off........... have you figured out what it is?.......(condoms for you slower people ;) To this day my husband and I call them barbie water beds heheheh.
6. If I had things my way everyone would hug a lot more! Especially friends. Sometimes adulthood feels like a cold world. And I've adjusted into something that innately isn't me.
7. I am a romantic and passionate person
8. A few things that I am passionate about is dancing and acting! It's thrilling. I was a swing instructor at Ricks College (BYU Idaho). LOVED every minute of it!
9. Traditional with manners and proprieties.... I would like to consider myself a "Lady" Mrs. Dunwoody's guide for home keeping ROCKS!! ;)
10. Keeping with the above I love movies like gone with the wind and old black and whites. A few of my fav's: Sitting Pretty, Bachelor Mother, and My man Godfrey are definately just a few!
11. I am very sincere! So much so, that I think I with hold a lot for fear of not being completely 100% sincere!
12. RESPONSIBILITY= MY NIGHTMARE!!!!!!!!!!
13. COMMITMENT=RESPONSIBILITY=MY NIGHTMARE!!!!! Clear on the math? I avoid commitment, unless it sounds fun!, at all costs! I am a commitment phobe! It's a miracle I'm married! ;) But I do try. :)
14.I like to drive fast in my car with my awesome music loud......... I am aware of how immature I'm sounding........
15. But I like to call it playful! I am playful.
16. I like music alot. I like most (with the exception of rap, metal, and most R&B) kinds. I like wierd music. They might be giants- flood, some fun ones are frans ferdinand: gonna make somebody love me, the killers: all these things that I've done. LOVE that song!
17. I was in choir in highschool.... I'll admit it, I was in there solely because my friends were, but did end up enjoying it. I like to sing a lot and wish I had a better voice (but I can rock on the dance floor baby! JK!) I did play the cello up to that point, but my older sister was quitting her violin so I decided to quit too. Dumb I know! (that was a big tangent! here's 17!) For our senior solo performance I sang a country song called "guys do it all the time"! :)
18. I have never permanently died my hair or even highlighted it! I do however like to play with the temporary dyes. I like the color of my hair.
19. I like to cook! I love to bake! The results are 99.9% of the time oh so rewarding. I also know how to make pulled buttercream mints which are OH SO devilishly good!
20. I debut on Lord of the rings "the fellowship of the ring" OF COURSE it would be a hobbit scene! I am one of the extra dancers at Bilbo's party! Just watch closely and maybe you'll see me ;). I'm in orange.
21. MY second career options would be Doctor or PHD in psychology. I am the first of my options. A Mother.
22. There is ALWAYS room, place, time, anytime for ice cream!!! but I HATE fish!!! Any thing that lives in water does not do well in my mouth! Cooked or alive!!
23. BIG night owl! Fun and family or friends are always worth losing sleep over!!! Especially when games are involved! I generally get to bed at 3 or 4 am on those nights!
24.I don't like to brush my teeth!!! Toothpaste is soap! The last chore of the day! But no! I never miss!
25. I've never so much as said the "D" word in my life and hope to keep it that way. However I don't have very much of a problem with using the word hell when talking about the place or using it in an analogous situation.

Phases and Cycles

I am a person of Confidence. Extreme confidence. All through my high school career I rode the wave of aplomb (hey! do you know what that word means? ;). Peers would question me as to why I was so happy and confident. I didn't mind asking dumb questions and looking dumb because I knew very well that I was very far from that! Ask questions, answer questions, right or wrong it didn't matter because even if I was wrong, I knew that over all, I was alright! Yes. Well. As I moved on to college there came some minor impediments, but nothing I couldn't handle (eventually). And then marriage pretty decent, and then moving on with my husband to graduate school. I gained some insight of my own. I believe it all started when I was in a Sunday school class and I happily, as always, raised my hand to make a comment. But then after my comment someone, of course older and wiser, overrode me and made my comment look.... elementary! I couldn't believe it! I sounded STUPID! I'm a quick learner, so I was careful. I made one more comment on another occasion after that and the same thing happened!!!!!!! I AM STUPID!!!!!! Yes! I didn't know what I was talking about! Maybe I should go color some pictures in nursery! That was it! I learned a lot right there! And of course my confidence was shot! I made no more comments. I shut up! And I listened. And I realized that I have a lot to learn! And that a lot of people are a lot more talented than me! And have every bit as much to offer as I do and more! At that point I moved. I sheepishly stepped back out of the lime light, into the shadows to observe. And there I have stayed. Confidence dashed, and a quite more timid me than is character. Now I know that confidence shouldn't depend on how much better you are than someone else or what you can do as well or better than someone else, but in this natural, fallen world, until you learn, it seems to work that way. It's been 6? years since I learned, if you don't want to look like and IDIOT, just shut up! Don't say anything!! So I really haven't. And how long does it take to form a habit? 30 DAYS! Oh I have lots of practice! However lately, I have felt differently. While I have always had a small desire to answer or comment (small because of the consequences of past experiences [humiliation!]) I never did. But now I am feeling impressions that I should comment. At first I ignored these impressions, for the above stated reasons, but then it got to a point of impressions like, "Brooke if you have this knowledge and don't share it, the Lord won't bless you with knowledge to share!" Or "Maybe someone needed to hear what you had to contribute to the lesson, but didn't". Yes well.... Fine! OK! Fine! So after six years of silence, I have finally spoken up a few times and, to my great relief, didn't sound like a complete idiot.
Life's experiences are interesting. The toll they take on the person experiencing, and the lessons that they teach. With all that has happened to me over these few years; going from exalted to inferior. Realizing reality and becoming abased from my aplomb ;) I think I may have finally gotten past the upward climb of the cycle, and only after much thought, convincing, divine assurance, and assuring myself, am I finally coming to regain my confidence. It's so relieving to feel on the "up and up" and feel like my secure, sure self again, even though not at all to the degree that it was, but surely because of experience and better understanding. I am grateful for things like this. Situations that bring experience, although generally not the least bit fun or ego boosting, but when finished, well refine you into the person you have the potential to become. And while I believe I'm on a cycle, naturally, I will be going back down again and who knows what will happen!?! or what I will learn then! But for now I will enjoy my slowly returning confidence and the things that I have learned from it leaving me in the first place. "Those who have to contend with difficulties, brave dangers, endure disappointments, struggle with sorrows, eat the bread of adversity and drink the water of affliction, develop a moral and spiritual strength, together with a purity of life and character, unknown to the heirs of ease, and wealth and pleasure." -Elder B.H. Roberts

Definately Worth Watching!! ;)

Here is some more back ground to my inside jokes!

And don't forget This!

Interesting Situation

So tonight we went to the temple and we just happened to be there at the same time that My old FHE brother from an out of state College 10 years ago was there! What a surprise! He's the last person that I would have imagined here! He was my FHE brother for a semester and then left for a mission. I never expected to see him again. He was there with his wife, we introduced our spouses and briefly caught up. We found out that they live not even 15 minutes away from us. We talked about favorite pass times and children and years of marriage and so on, and then the peculiar thing happened. Our conversation came to a close and we agreed that it was nice to see each other again and they..... left. They left. I watched them walk out the door. Possibly never to be seen again. Even though we live so close and have a very unlikely opportunity to be friends, we both mutually, non verbally, basically decided that neither party cared if we saw each other again. There was no exchange of numbers, or "let's get togethers" just a passing.... see ya in the next life.... While I am not sorrowing over this, if I had wanted to see them again, I would have made proper arrangements I just find it interesting. Interesting how people come and go in your life, and sometimes by chance they appear again here and there to be let go again. It just isn't me! To let friends pass in and out of my life. I guess for me when life is full of friends it's full of meaning and fun. I'm not one to let fun pass me by, but tonight I did. It's not the first time and I'm sure it won't be the last. I just hope that maybe in the next life Friends ties and connections won't come and go, but will be kept forever.

Duh! In a Big Red Truck!

Alright there are little things here and there that stick with a person and make them who they are? Does that make me blonde? No! However, this is a joke that I heard in High School and would repeat the punch line often at appropriate times. I still to this day every now and then repeat the punch line, but the unfortunate thing is that unless you've been with me since High School, you have no idea what I'm talking about and then I just look like a big idiot! Hey what can I say? There's some logic to my idiocy somewhere..... you just need some background. While this joke, as most other blonde jokes, is only somewhat funny the punch line has served me well. Alright enough intro, on with the joke!
-K- so there's this Blonde and she gets home and sees that her house is on fire. She panics and runs over to her neighbors house pounds on the door and exclaims (make sure you get the valley voice here!) MY HOUSE IS ON FIRE CAN I USE YOUR PHONE TO CALL 911? "Sure" they say and let her in. She calls 911 and repeats MY HOUSE IS ON FIRE I NEED YOU TO HURRY AND COME PUT IT OUT!! The 911 operator says "Ok calm down Miss, I just need you to tell me; how do we get there?"
(VALLEY VOICE) Duh! In a big red truck!
HAHAHHAHAHAHAAAA! Wasn't that funny! Ok. I know! Just a little background alright! ;)
Here's my favorite one and then I promise I'll stop!
A blonde was driving one day A little way down the road, she saw another blonde out in a corn field sitting in a row boat rowing. This made the other blonde really mad! She stopped her car and angrily jumped out and yelled,
"It's DUMB blondes like you that make us SMART blondes look bad! If I could swim I'd come out there and beat the crap out of you!" HAHAHA! My dear blonde friends you know I love you! ;)

The Debunking of Chris Cringle

The title of this harsh entry is Carefully written so that at first glance, hopefully, your delicate ones won't be able to process the subject and meaning there of. There! Did you get rid of them? ;)
Alright so it happens to the best of us. We believe with excitement for years in this wonderful man who brings us toys! Only to find out that he doesn't exist. Which when you do find out I assume usually you're ready. How did you find out? Brett said that his Jewish friend next door told him that he wasn't real and that her parents told her that it was just something that the christian parents told their children (he he he). When Brett asked his mom she hesitated and then of course continued the loving lie! Although Brett remained a skeptic. I thought that was so funny!
I was thinking of how I found out about the world wide child deception the other day, and now that I'm grown with children of my own........ hmmm. Things that make you go hmmm. I figured it merited an entry.
It was Christmas Eve. There was snow outside. The presents were under the tree. The tree all aglow, the sugar plum fairies were beginning to dance in my head as the lights were turned off only leaving the beautiful Christmas lights illuminated. I was being pushed off to bed, but I, with my usual child behavior, was lingering as long as possible with hopes and dreams in my heart! Finally my mom said "Brooke! Go to bed!!"
"But wait. Mom."
"No! Get in bed! What are you doing?!?!"
"I just want to see if Santa Clause comes."
"He's Not Real!! Now go to bed!"
Whoa!! OK! Santa Clause doesn't exist! Go to bed......alright...... I was only sixteen! But it was still mean!!! Ok Just kidding! I was only .....8! (sniff) I know. What the heck!?!?!? At that age luckily I was often in la la land and found little happy dreams of my own. As......mmm...abrupt as that was I don't remember shedding any tears over it. But I was just thinking about how old I was and I actually have a child that age, who as far as I know still very much believes in Santa Clause. I wonder when It will be my turn to admit that I have been enthusiastically deceiving my children for years. I'm sure that I, as most every other parent, I will be well forgiven for giving gifts anonymously under the name of Clause.
A friend who had teenagers told me that in their house, if you don't believe in Santa Clause, then he doesn't come. I like that idea. I think may do the same. Even after the reindeer's out of the bag, they still better promote that fat man or else learn how to make diamonds out of what they'll get! ;)
(Dear Santa, if you leave a bike under the tree I'll give you the antidote to the poison I put in the milk. Timmy)

Merry Christmas!!

OH THE DEVESTATION!

Yes... well, ever since I have been 25 every year about this time my life goes into crisis. I'll never forget that day....... the day I so much dreaded! I was standing in front of the mirror, just looking at my self with distaste. Just standing there gazing at the very pregnant mother of 2 and 8/9 children now 25 year old me! A quarter of a century!! How much older can you get?!?! Blah! That is when I officially became OLD!!!! I cried. Yes, I cried as I gazed at the reflection, old and decrepit. Desperately trying to grasp each second and not let it slip away to continue me on to OLD AGE! Aww, but it's futile as we all know! I cried for 3 birthdays in a row! 25........26............27!!!! And while I haven't cried for the past 2 years, the crisis still remains the same. I think maybe I've just come to accept my fate.
As a child there were not many things that I paid attention to, especially consequences! I really wasn't one to think ahead, but just live in my blissful lala land. Aging, however, was one of the few things that I did notice. I could see that it was something I never wanted. Even as a child I never wanted to grow up! So as other children sat and wished they were adults so that they could do all the grown up things, I was singing a different Tune! Thus here I am today....... Still just a toys r us kid trapped in an even more adult than I was yesterday mother of 4 body! Well I guess I better go rub my wrinkle cream on and have a nice warm glass of milk before bed. Does any one have recommendations for depends?
